Integrity Management means ensuring the technical integrity of the asset, in order to operate within acceptable safety margins and to ensure optimised economy throughout the operational life.
This typically comprises collection and utilisation of the necessary available information to assess the condition of the asset, and to determine the necessary corrective or preventive actions to ensure safe operation and in such a way that the budgets are spent where the risk or consequence of a failure is highest.
